Cook-chill environments have evolved rapidly in recent years, and our Cook Chill and Commissary Kitchen Design Studio has kept pace by paying attention to the details. And since cook-chill will continue to draw the focus of any sustainability efforts, energy management is leading to new opportunities in design.

Our Cook Chill and Commissary Kitchen Design Studio has delivered a variety of full-service projects, from planning and construction administration to project cost analysis, bid evaluation and procurement advisement. Each aspect of a cook-chill project also provides an opportunity to impart LEED concepts and ensure that the project follows standards for environmentally sustainable construction.

An example of our recent work is at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, CA, where we helped replace six separate kitchen facilities that were spread across the hospital campus with a centrally-located, modern facility that is a model of energy efficiency, water conservation and environmental responsibility.
