Methodology
Webb’s design approach is structured around the process of discovery and rooted in operational modes that support modern foodservice attributes; community minded, environmental conscious, health conscious, flexibility/customization, global flavors, and priced to market, to name a few. We aim to uncover the personality, vision and goals of each project which then dictates the foundation of our foodservice design approach. The Pre-Design Phase allows the opportunity for project stakeholders to imagine or re-imagine the potential and profitability of a food service space by seeing current trends, feasibility studies and conceptual renderings.We aim to partner with our clients to ensure that their goals, project cost objectives and programming requirements are met throughout the Design Phase as we develop plans, finalize layouts and outline equipment specifications and project components. Plans and specifications are produced with meticulous detail and particular attention is given to energy efficiency, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and the preservation of the work and social environment.

Our Expertise
With over 25 years of experience, Webb Foodservice Design is a recognized leader in providing the highest quality food service programming and design services.
We have successfully completed an entire spectrum of projects, both new construction and renovations, ranging from 200 to 200,000 square feet in size, with budgets ranging from $100 thousand to $7 million. These projects have offered us the opportunity to gain a notable and proven understanding of institutional operational functionality in a variety of market segments such as higher education, healthcare, K-12 and corporate dining facilities. Through our participation in Industry Associations such as NACUFS, NACAS, CSNA, AHF, SHFM and GBC we are able to stay current with emerging trends and business models.
Webb Foodservice Design is grounded in sustainable, responsible and energy efficient design practices. We employ a full time LEED accredited staff member and specify energy efficient equipment as a baseline for all of our projects. We offer extensive experience with OSHPD, DSA, CDPH and local health departments and our planning services are supported by the latest BIM/REVIT formats.
